There’s a lot more to producing, roasting and brewing perfect coffee. In three hours we teach you all about it – from practicing the smelling and tasting, to doing it yourself.
We let you try our La Marzocco espresso machine, but also an Aeropress; which is probably a bit easier to use at home.
In an official coffee tasting (a ‘cupping’) you learn to distinguish an Arabica from a Robusta and an Ethiopian coffee from a Central American one. Then, we let you burn your caffeine behind the espresso machine. We’ll answer all your questions.
What are the tricks of the trade when making an excellent espresso? How do you get the perfect cream? And how does one actually make a heart in their Latte?
After our workshop you’ll have a better understanding of what a barista does behind the counter and you’ll be pretty skilled with a porta filter and a cupping spoon as well. At this point, you’re probably wondering what a porta filter holder is anyway. Go figure.
The workshops are held every month in our roastery in Amsterdam from 19.00 to 22.00. We do not provide English workshops at the moment
